An Apple or An Orange or An Excellent Apple???

That day my friend went to do her hair and I asked her how she looks with the new hair made. She asked me not to expect much because she believed that an apple is still an apple and she will not turn from an apple to an orange by doing her hair.

I have an advise to her. Yes, an apple definitely can not turn into an orange, even that orange might taste like an apple. A better apple is a step away from an excellent apple my friend. The difference between good and best is only slight difference . Improve a step everyday and one will become excellent eventually. So instead of becoming an ordinary apple, we can choose to upgrade ourself to an excellent apple. We can't change how we were born, we can't our origin but we can always upgrade ourself to a better person. Believe me, if you think you can, you can.

How I Get into Politics

I has been attracted to politics since the late 1990s when i was a teengaer. Back then, there had been calls fo the young to koin politics amid teh Reformasi and issues surrounding former deputy prime minister Datuk Seri Anwar Ibrahim.

Young people talk about human rights and freedom. They ahve access to so much information and so quickly. However, i was only able to see the bigger picture after becoming active in politics years later.

Looking back on those year when i myself was apolitical, it was important for politicians to move in the circle of the younger generation to understand their needs, aspirations and also frustrations before they (politicians) try to rope them in .

Be a good listener before you expect them to listen to you. let them know that crying won't help solve problems. What is important is the diagnosis that can help find the solutions.

Taking Xmas to flood zones

BeliaWanis Mca committee members got to scrapped their to hold a Christmas gathering in Kuala Lumpur, Instead, they were busy helping flood victims down south.
BeliaWanis assisted victims in Taman Merdeka, Malacca, in cleaning their houses before they went to Johor on the next day.
Christmas is a time to share our love. We did not hesitate to cancel our Christmas celebration after learning about the flood situation in the two states. Some of use had also canceled vacation plans when it was decided that BeliaWanis should travel to the affected areas to help flood victims. Members' families and friends had also been supportive, and some also went with them to Malacca and Johor.
We also had collected nearly RM20,000 from family and friends. The money was used to buy food and bottled water for the victims. The public had also contributed essential items on learning that BeliaWanis was going to the affected states. Some were unable to go to the scene but feel they had responsibility to help, so they had made donations instead.

2007 Budget

The move to introduce Chinese and Tamil languages in schools is a positive step and reflects the Government's commitment towards strengthening national unity.

In announcing Budget 2007, Prime Minister Datul Seri Abdullah Ahmad Badawi announced that the Chinese language a s full subject would be taught in 150 national schools, and Tamil in 70 schools.

The Budget cared for the future of Malaysians because education for youth and children was given top priority.
Scholarships to needy students who score at least 10A1s are critical in supplementing existing scholarship schemes. Bright students from poor families will be assured of pursuing higher education.

The increase in monthly allowances for poor students and the abolishing of examination fees would help sustain their education.
